2012 started very well for Central Financial Planning Ltd.

On 12th January they were again named as New Model Adviser firm of the year by Citywire (www.citywire.co.uk), a leading financial publication.

To quote from Citywire about the awards “Financial Advisers among the 6000 strong readership of New Model Adviser® complete an in-depth survey and are then judged on factors such as professional qualifications, client satisfaction, the proportion of money they earn as recurring, fee based income, and the growth of this portion of their income. Short listed firms are then taken through a further interview process looking in detail at these areas and additional factors such as client education and communication and the use of technology to run an efficient financial planning business.

The methodology was created in conjunction with AKG Actuaries and Consultants who ratify the results.

Previously in January 2010 at the Annual New model adviser awards organized by Citywire Central Financial Planning was named New Model Adviser firm of the year 2010 in our area. Over 200 hundred firms entered the competition to find firms with the highest qualifications and ethical standards.

In April 2010 'Financial Adviser', a 'Financial Times' publication confirmed Ian as Pensions/SIPP Independent Adviser of the year 2010. This was the 3rd time in a row he won the award.

In October based on a case study report we won Income drawdown planner of the year 2010 in the Money Management awards that are often referred to as the Oscars for financial planning – no gold statues however just a certificate.
